I've been wondering how Shepard Fairey came up on that gig. I'm sure he hustled for it, but because this was a presidential campaign, I found it surprising at first that Obama's team gave the campaign a green light being that Shepard can easily be labeled a criminal. Nonetheless I thought it was cool to see a street artist like Shepard be one of the folks who made a huge contribution to Obama's victory.

The video can no longer be seen (aw man).
But I always thought the design campaign Fairey came up with was brilliant. It's like pop art now... everyone is replicating it, just like how it was when everybody was into Andy Warhol.
