VIDEO of The WEEK: 80 of 500 handdrawn posters

This is an inspiring video from a Netherlands graphic designer named Job Wouters a.k.a "LETMAN." I really like the different elements of typography that he used, his style is a cross between graphic design, graffiti, and calligraphy. Keep in mind that all of the posters are hand rendered by the same artist.

I think that the fact that these posters are hand drawn shows just how talented the artist is. As a designer, I have a personal goal where I want to have a prolific amount of work. Not necessarily as a popularity concept, but rather to keep the juices flowing.

I believe that as an artist, people can never stop learning. Its part of creativity. I remember when i was in the graffiti circuit. i used to make all kinds of poster-like drawings. Unfortunately, being young doesn't help you think about how your going to conserve your work. Most of my work as a graffiti artist were done in piece books that belong to random graffiti artists that I met in the street or to people I haven't seen in years. If I saw a bunch of old work today, I probably wouldn't remember doing half of the stuff that may be still circulating the streets out there.
